In Iowa (and some other states) you have two applications you must submit to the Bar during your law school career. The first is the Law Student Registration. The second is the Bar application. The Law Student Registration is completely separate from the Bar application.

Law Student Registration Deadlines:

November 1st of first year of law school - $25.00

If you did not register as a first-year student, you must still register.

July 1st for February exam - $75.00
December 1st for July exam - $75.00
Late fee registration (November 1 for February exam; April 1 for July exam) - $150
