The LL.M./M.J. Program in Global Intellectual Property Law at Drake University Law School provides an exceptional learning environment to prepare transnational IP lawyers for today’s global business environment. Strategically located in central Iowa, which some have dubbed “Silicon Valley” of agricultural biotechnology, Drake University Law School houses the internationally renowned Intellectual Property Law Center.

Directed by Professor Peter Yu, a world renowned expert in international IP law, the Center is a rare U.S. law program that has developed a strong academic and research focus on IP law and policy in the Asia Pacific region. This year, peer surveys conducted by U.S. News and World Report have ranked the Center among the top 15 intellectual property law programs in the United States and one of the top three programs in the Midwest. Since its inception, the Center has been ranked consistently among the country's top intellectual property law programs.
