The Career Opportunity Program (COP) is an alternative study program offered to a limited number of highly qualified, highly motivated students whose circumstances preclude full-time study of law.

COP should not be confused with a “part-time” program. Drake has no separate set of evening and weekend classes for a separate group of part-time students. Instead, COP students take regular day classes with a reduced course load and must complete their degree within six years of enrollment.

COP is highly selective. An applicant may gain admission to the law school yet be denied admission to COP. Contact the Office of Admission at 1-800-44-DRAKE ext. 2782 for further information.
