On Teaching and the Area of Intellectual Property Law"The biggest excitement of being a law professor is to see light bulbs turn on over students' heads. You don't know exactly what you need to do to make that happen, but you are so grateful when it finally does--even more so when the light spread to illuminate other students. As a colleague once shared with me, if you had a good class, it's because of the students; but if you had a bad one, it's because of you. I try hard to remember this piece of advice when I am in the classroom. |
