Second Annual Conference on Innovation and Communications Law
University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law
August 21-22, 2009

This conference focuses on the role intellectual property and communications law play in the dissemination of information. As a follow-up to the 2008 conference at the University of Turku in Finland, the event is jointly organized with the University of Turku Faculty of Law, University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, Michigan State University College of Law and the IPR University Center in Finland. “Intellectual Property Developments in China: Global Challenge, Local Voices”
October 16–17, 2009

Held shortly after the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, this conference was specially designed to promote academic exchange between intellectual property scholars in China and other parts of the world. It allows Western scholars to learn more about intellectual property developments in China. It also provides an opportunity for Chinese scholars to interact with their counterparts in the Western World. The final program is available here.
