Drake University Law School Legal Studies Research Paper Series features legal scholarship in all subject areas from faculty members, visiting scholars, affiliates and students of Drake University Law School. Founded in 1865, the Law School is one of the 25 oldest law schools in the United States. It aims to provide an exceptional learning environment that integrates legal theory and the development of professional skills; promotes critical thinking and effective problem solving; examines international perspectives; and instills the ideals of ethics and professionalism.
