The Dwight D. Opperman Hall and Law Library offers state-of-the art technology and library design. With more than 700 seats and many study areas, the library provides abundant locations for scholarly work. Additional study areas are available in the Law School's Cartwright Hall, which is connected to Opperman Hall and is located at 27th Street and Carpenter Avenue.
The Dwight D. Opperman Hall and Law Library has won numerous awards for architectural design, including:
- Grand Award of Excellence from the NAHB's National Commercial Builders Council.
- AIA Minnesota Honor Award.
- Silver Citation from the American School & University for educational interior design excellence.
