The Drake Law Library is proud to present a selection of works by Sara Walker from April – June 2015.

Sara, a graduate of the Drake Law School, was a faculty member of the Drake College of Business and Public Administration for twenty years, retiring in 2008. In 2004 she began studying art with Mary Muller, the Iowa artist who in recent years has painted portraits of many of the Law School Faculty that are hanging in Cartwright Hall.

Sara enjoys painting a variety of subjects, including landscapes, still lifes, flowers and animals. Many of her paintings are inspired by photographs taken by her husband David on trips they have made around the states and abroad. This exhibit displays a variety of paintings that she has done in oils.

The Drake Law Library would like to invite students, faculty and staff to display their art in the library. The library provides a showcase for rotating art exhibits in the open reading area at the top of the 2nd floor stairs. If you are an artist who’d like to share your work with the Drake Law School community, please contact Deborah Sulzbach.
