Drake Law Now Offers Domestic Violence Immigrant Clinic

Drake Law School has expanded their legal clinic offerings to include a Domestic Violence Immigrant Clinic. This clinic will enable student who take the Domestic Violence class to also work to solve the needs of real clients.

Students in the program will provide legal services to immigrant women who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. Client representation may include family law matters, protective orders, public benefits, consumer law issues, landlord-tenant matters, employment law cases, bankruptcy, and immigration remedies. Students will also work closely with local immigrant advocacy agencies involved in assisting these clients.
